Easter Egger club!

Depends upon if there are any other roosters around.

I have one that is 18 weeks old and haven't heard a single crow from him yet. I had another cockerel that didn't crow until he was more than 4 months old (I butchered him shortly after he started learning/trying - it was kinda pitiful sounding but he was a big boy and ready for processing). I think part of it is the head rooster...they don't want to with him around.

This is my EE rooster, Hermes. He has been being a brat lately and may be finding a new home soon.. However he is very eye appealing.

This is kappa. She is very outgoing! She is best friends with sigma, my other EE I bought this year an they sleep together, eat together, and go everywhere together. It's really cute. :D

Sigma, she is a little more shy than kappa.

This is omega. She is very quiet and shy. She is also a little ditzy at times.. She is by far my favorite though(shhhh). I'm really hoping to see blue eggs from her.

Mari is my chubby hen. She LOVES to eat. And that's what is on her mind 24/7. She has no interest in the other chickens, or either of my roosters. Just food.

Suri and Tara. Suri is my roosters favorite hen. She is the smallest of my EEs and lays a medium olive/green color egg. She is also very picky. She won't wear her hen apron and will wrestle it off. If she can't get it off, she gets the rooster to help her by alarming. He then comes over and helps her take it off. I have up on the apron for now.

This is kimchi. She is second in command, after Hermes. She is always the first to try something and the first out the door. She is pure white and lays a pale blue egg.
And I don't have a picture of red but she is well a red colored EE she lays a jumbo green egg that is too big to fit in extra large egg containers.
I love my Easter Eggers and I am hatching some when my incubator arrives. :D

Here's my little EE, Willow. I started out with 5 chicks and I'm suddenly down to 2. ): The three just disappeared without any signs of predators breaking in(I think they were stolen.) So all I have left are Willow and my Silkie Foxy. Going to the feed store to pick up some friends for the lonely girls. Foxy was whistling to me yesterday. Missing her friend I bet ):

Taken last week. Willow in the back and Foxy up front. Willow was definitely lonely and scared. I stuffed her in my shirt(one plus to being a woman) and let her "help" me feed the horses yesterday. She really enjoyed it and was calm and peaceful the whole time.

This handsome boy is Fancy Pants our EE Roo, he is 15 1/2 weeks old. It's been fun to watch him try and show off for our girls who range in age from 18mnths to 4 yrs.

I purchased this little girl as an Americauna, but someone said they think she is an Easter Egger. Not sure what she is - but I know she is cute!
