It's too young to guess the gender. It will probably end up a sort of wild-type patridge. The exact shade of gold/red and the amount of patterning can not be determined with any degree of accuracy though.

I think female and here are the reasons . First the tail looks full - males usually have slower tail growth .I see no red in the shoulders yet . Breast looks like it will turn to salmon not black . Lots of black eye liner . Males have less or almost none . Final color will likely be mostly brown .
 
So, when someone describes EE's coloring/plumage as wild type? Or wild type partridge? What does that mean exactly? Can someone please explain and/or add some pics describing this?
