Easter Egger club!

My four EEs, 8 weeks old, are all flower names:
Petunia (on the white side with beautiful markings)
Myrtle (whitest of all)
Violet (dark gray with gorgeous brown body feathers mixed in...suspected male)
Buttercup (lighter gray)
 
Silly question; I know that 'brown' is not the color of the egg, the hen 'paints' it on before laying. Blue however, is. So if I break open a blue egg the inside of the shell would be blue also, right?

Not silly at all. You don't know what you don't know until you ask :) Blue and White are base colors and yes, the brown is painted on.
 
That's kinda what I thought, but wasn't sure, thanks. So green eggs should really be interesting with their blue insides!
