Easter Egger club!

This one of my easter eggers, wondering if it is a roo...

Name is Blue, because of the coloring

I am afraid those are spurs coming in...

yeah photos are blurred due to the fact the camera has auto focused on the fence, u need to get close into the fence to get a nice clear image

Even with as blurry as the photos are, I can clearly see male saddle feathers and the red shoulder patches specific to males.
can males be plain?absolutely free of any marks? or is it only hens, we have an all white EE which im hoping will be female, and all black araucana who i m sure is a female, ( its pea comb is the smallest of its siblings and isnt the same colour, its always been yellowish where the others started sorta orangish. then out of the 4 chipmunk araucanas although they are still quite speckled, one is patch free and 2 are showing distinct signs of brown on their upper wing areas

This is something new I never heard before -- that the red shoulder patches are specific to males. I love reading these posts!
Just take a look at roosters from various breeds. One feature that is pretty consistent, regardless of breed, are the red shoulders. Welsummer, Black Copper Marans, Gold Laced Wyandotte, Salmon Faverolle, Wheaten Ameraucana, Barnevelder....
You can even see this trait exhibit in Buff colorations, as a darker shade of buff.

The Red-shouldered Phoenix roos are very distinct too. Thx for the info!
