Easter Egger club!

I am glad to find an EE club. I have two EE Rooster brothers: one is named Toughwood and the other is Tailfeather. I got them a few months ago for free and they are now 8 mos old. I hope to get hens very soon but no luck so far in my area. I will post pics as soon. They are very sweet to each other perching wing to wing when they sleep.

Oh i love my EE's they do have the greatest personality out of all the chickens i have and so curious about everythig you do in the yard with them

Hello fellow easter eggers, I may be a bit pre-mature but I wont pick up my girls until 04-08-13 (1 Speckeled Sussex, 1 Buff Brahma, 1 Golden Sex Link and 1 Easter Egger)! I cant wait!!! Seems so far from now but time flies. Right now we are having our coop built because I have NO skills when it comes to carpentry and hubby will take a year before it is complete...love ya babe !
Im really glad to see this club; I was so confused on which way to go...pure breed ameraucana or easter egger (we have several Ameraucana breeders right here in Ohio not far from me, however, after doing EXTENSIVE LATE NIGHT research I began to see that these beautiful little EE's were the underdog of the chicken world...so naturally I began rooting for them and decided to add one to my flock!!! Of course I have no pictures but will promptly return in April to update everyone with pics of my girls and the coop!!!

This is our "Adobo". She was sold to me as an Americauna...
I believe she is Easter Egger based on what I've been reading
and the pictures I have been seeing. Regardless, I just love
watching her in the yard. She loves to steal treats from the
smaller RIR we have. She also loves to chest bump our
Australorp. Hoping all are girls at this point. Time will tell.
If you can confirm for me that she is Easter Egger, I would
love to join the club
