He loves Dottie to pieces. Hang on and I'll go get a few pics of him. The breeder had lots of different breeds. Each had their own section. He shows them. But lots of people on the Ameraucana and Arucana (he breeds both) threads said that he is an EE.

He's grown a lot in the last week. These are the first pics I've taken of him this week. What a big boy, huh?

I love his green eyes, and they even match his green legs. When I cuddle him he makes a sound just like a cricket.

(and since most EErs came from culling Aracauna/Ameraucana flocks...I stand by my original comment...he very well could have had 2 'pure' parents and still lost out on the genetic lottery...he's still a handsome boy!)

He has lavender orpingtons too...I want to get some this spring. But I just yesterday hatched these for beauties

Congratulations! Chicka looks a lot like my Pum'kin. I'm still a few weeks out from our first eggs. I'm hoping by Christmas. But they will only be 22wks by then...so no telling. It may be after the first of the year

So worth the wait!! My Pumpkin (Buff Orpington) also 24 week started laying today also!

Finally got a few pics of my EE Bantams. I hope to hold on to this boy and maybe have some fertile eggs this spring from Myst and Sugar. All of them are just 13 weeks old now.

Seems these EE boys mature faster than the girls. Anybody notice that? or is it just me? He has a monster tail and the girls were just getting some nice shape in their tails and then either dropped feathers or someone is pulling the tail feathers.








I also have one standard size EE girl, Weezey, who still does not lay at 32 weeks.
