I just put my favorite EE hen in with a Lavender americuana roo. I will be rehoming him in a few days but until then a parade of girls will be visiting with him. Hopefully I can hatch a few EE pullets.

Quote: Hello, my fellow Kansan!
I just bought two Ameraucana chicks that I intend to breed. So that the Ameraucana hen doesn't get worn out, I plan on putting some other hens in there and breeding out my own EE's. I also have several EE's that I've purchased, and I've already hatched out some chicks from their stock. It's too soon to tell yet what color of eggs they'll lay, but so far I've been VERY pleased with the results. They are by far the most lovable and friendly chicks we've ever had-my mom opened up the brooder to try to take photos of them and ended up with six chicks climbing up her arms!
Look at that chunk!
I'll have to get some new photos of them--they're in full-blown dinosaur mode by now.
