Aww... It hatched on the 8th of Feb. Is there still hope? It doesn't have wattles yet and I have a barred Easter Egger growing a big comb and wattlesI would say it is a rooster because of the red comb and the thick legs.
Hopefully! I hate giving roosters away that I get attached to.It's hard to tell at this age. I'm leaning towards roo because of the thick legs and the shape of the feathers, but it's hard to say at this age. The comb and wattles don't look especially developed--it may yet be a pullet.
If it is a pullet (hopefully) will it lay olive eggs since it's moms a brown egg layerIt's hard to tell at this age. I had heard that white EE typically end up being roos. We got a group of EE a few years ago, and the one solid white EE ended up being a little cockerel.
I hope not cause I have one too but I want a hen....I had heard that white EE typically end up being roos. We got a group of EE a few years ago, and the one solid white EE ended up being a little cockerel.
