Easter Egger club!

It's hard to tell at this age. I'm leaning towards roo because of the thick legs and the shape of the feathers, but it's hard to say at this age. The comb and wattles don't look especially developed--it may yet be a pullet.

If it is a pullet (hopefully) will it lay olive eggs since it's moms a brown egg layer
 
I had heard that white EE typically end up being roos. We got a group of EE a few years ago, and the one solid white EE ended up being a little cockerel.

I have about a week old EE chick that started out pale yellow and now has white wing feathers. I am kind of hoping it turns out to be a roo so I have at least one in our free range situation.

I hope not cause I have one too but I want a hen....

My two white EE's turned out to be hens, so you never know.

As for the egg color, you won't know that until she (hope hope!) starts laying.
