update of my Wheaten Ameraucana Rooster x Mille Flora d'Uccle Hen. They are now 6 weeks old. I am just beginning to see flecks of coloring and think they will look like Milles.
Leg feathering is light, but legs are green. Pretty well positive that I have a trio. Sorry for the blur, not at all good with the selfie type shots. Poor kids tails were down, the big girls kept pestering them.

Hi Everyone!I seen our first frost warning for the fall, so we put windbreak on the run. Two 10'x16' tarps on the west and south sides. Have to switch waters yet to heated one.

Yea, here in PA, the nights are getting really cold. I haven't been outside yet to let my chickens out, but I haven't seen any frost anywhere. It's soon that dreaded time of the year where if you don't have a heated water dish your water freezes and that is a pain. So glad I got one last year. I should have one more for my other coop. I just use ice cream buckets. Those are easy to smack the frozen block of ice out.
