Easter Egger club!

Thank you so much! Her cute little puffy cheeks made her look like she was smiling at me. How could I not take her home with me?! Lol

Well today marks a new start for some EE blends.
We got a BLRWyandotte she's going in with our Lav Orps for now, he needs another girlfriend.

This is my first set of chickens. I have one EE, out a mix of 8, and she is my favorite. Please don't tell the others! Her name is Hyacinth. She is about two weeks old in these pictures, and nearly three weeks old today. I can't wait to see what she turns out to look like. She is so cuddly. Today when we went outside (her first time) to play in the grass she would huddle under me anytime a wild bird made a noise. It was sweet. She also came when called. (If she grows into a he I'll be devastated.)
She is adorable here's hoping for a hen :)

I believe one of my chicks is an EE. i was told ameraucana but i dont think so? Hard to tell. She's about 3 weeks it looks to me? Hoping for a pullet.

I have decided that I don't love EE'ers because they are extremely hard to sex early!! Mine has people stumped in the sexing tips and we keep having to wait a week. They are 8 weeks old we should be able to tell lol!! My Wyandotte I knew within 2 weeks old that one was a Roo. I guess that has to do with the mixed breed aspect? Also neither of mine have the neck tufts I see so often in EE'ers.
