Easter Egger club!

I really want some Easter Eggers! I'm in Michigan so if anyone can tell me where to get them that would be great!!

Most hatcheries and feed stores sell Easter Eggers as Ameraucana, Araucana, or Americana.

If you see a bin of chicks at the feed store labeled Ameraucana, Araucana, or Americauna; then you can be sure they are Easter Eggers.

Do you happen to have any pictures of this guy at 9 weeks? I have one that exact red with grey undertone and I'm wondering if this is what he will look like! I'd post a picture, but the computer Injust downloaded all my chicken pictures to yesterday to get them off my phone crashed today. But I'll be back as soon as I get that fixed. Mine is currently "Baby Biscuit" because he looked like my olde spiller Biscuit when she was a chick. We aren't planning on keeping it so I've just left it, but I'd probably call him Big Red or Andre if he looked like your guy and we kept him. I had an awesome horse that deep red named Andre.

this is the best I have! Sorry it's not the best picture but he's pretty much looked like that since he feathered out. You can also see a few other easter eggers and chickens in my flock and my other white easter egger rooster named CoCo

I have 4 EEs out of my little flock

of 14 & I love them! Front & center is our pet, Hildy! She is quite the character. Two of my EEs, Skye & Pip, came from Ideal. The other two, Hildy & Bella, I picked out of the EE bin at our local feed store. They came from Belt.

Thanks so much! I finally got so frustrated I just went out to the run and took more pictures so I have some on my phone. This is my guy at ~9 weeks. This second batch of EE I have are markedly maturing more slowly than the first al though they are from the same breeder and same chickens. Could that be because they are in with cockerels several weeks older than them, I wonder. Can't see his comb in these pics so he looks like a pullet. Haha

He is also the friendliest in the whole flock right now. Running up and wanting to be held and petted when we go out to the run.
