Easter Egger club!

Are you certain of their age? They look more like they are about 14 to 16 weeks old. And are you certain it was a crowing and not them practicing their egg song?
They were born Jan 17th so just over 12 wks. I hope it was practice for egg song. We love the black/ white one. It was about 7:30 this morning and our neighbors dog started barking at our dogs through the fence- close to the run and she let out what sounded like a crow, twice. I read all the time how EEs are hard to sex. I'm going to see if it's an every morning thing and if it is, I'm going to have to find her/him a new home

If the dog startled them it may have been more of their warning call.

This is the video I took this morning. Everyone thinks they are pullets but this is the noise they are making
I saw the pictures. It looks like they are both pullets. I mean the black and white one looks more like a pullet then the other one but... So you said they are both doing this? That is quite a funny sound.

OK so I'm taking the red one to the feed store and he's going to rehome it on a farm in the country for me but he also said I can take home An ameraucana baby hen. I'll probably end up having to get rid of my black-and-white one but I'm going to hold on another day or so just to see what happens with that one .

Pullets, but yes, she is crowing. Someone last summer had an Easter Egger pullet start crowing at about that age. She stopped after a few weeks. Definitely not quite the same crow as a cockerel just starting out.
What? Really? So I was going to take it to the feed store to rehome later this morning but now I don't know. What I do know is that my neighbors aren't going to stand for anything crowing for any period of time. Ugh the pain of getting too close to chicks
