Easter Egger club!

Greetings EE fans. This is a mystery bantam that is about 7 weeks old and I had thought was an EE. True or not true? Thanks!

Could be? It's very partridge though. What bantam varieties come in partridge? Welsummer? penedesenca? Plymouth rock?

Thank you Amelia, Kingkoopa and JuneBug! I appreciate your sharing your expertise. Old English Game bantam! Yes! I do believe that she looks to be just that, especially judging by the set of her legs. I didn't even know about that breed. Cheers.

I'm not having a very good year with my EE's. I hatched around 24 chicks, thinking worse case scenario I'd have around a half dozen pullets. I'm not 100% sure on all of them, but I think they are all cockerels.

I know that feeling. Year of the Cock at my house too. Up to my ears in sparring boys!!

I'm a new chicken mom but you're not alone because I have a feeling that 3 and possibly 4 of my EEs are cockerels also. I only got 4 to begin with. Maybe tomorrow i will post pics and someone can help me decide.

So Rose is still the most stunning EE! Her white plumage is striking and she is the friendliest thing in the world! 8.5 weeks and loving life out in the coop and run.

I would love to see her first egg posted. There once was an owner of a white EE that actually layed white eggs!
