Our EE latte, 20 wks old, laid her 1st egg todsy z green egg. ON the small dide but it should get bigger as she gets older. SO exciting

Nice! And she laid it in the nest so you didn't have to go searching. I'm still waiting on my 24 week old EE.

Oooh, good idea! I might have to replicate that. They sure seem to like it.

One of the ideas I had for my run looks like it would work in yours as well. I want to put a 4x4 vertical support in the middle, and then attach short perches on all sides at different heights using 2x4s (long side horizontal) using shelf supports to hold them up. Basically, a cat tree for chickens

That sounds like a great idea it's essentially giving them a tree I may do that myself
