Hello EE owners. I personally love my trio of EE chicks, and there doesn't seem to be many others who love them as much as I do. I think they are beautiful, loving little birds, and I wanted to meet a few others who adore them as much as I do.

hello everyone! I have never owned easter eggers be for and heres my question, I already have a rooster a btw Japanese bantam with my hens, are easter egger roosters aggressive? I have one big coop an run and I don't want my little bantam rooster beat up.

hello everyone! I have never owned easter eggers be for and heres my question, I already have a rooster a btw Japanese bantam with my hens, are easter egger roosters aggressive? I have one big coop an run  and I don't want my little bantam rooster beat up.

I am no expert since I haven't had my chickens for even a year but I have an EE roo and a Leghorn roo (he was supposed to be a hen). I wouldn't call my EE roo mean or aggresive, he has never tried to attack a person but once he got bigger than my leghorn he did declare dominence. My leghorn didn't give up his girls easily and it got a little rough. They get along now, but my EE does chase him away here an there as if to keep reminding him who is boss. My EE doesn't attack him but I am sure if my Leghorn tried to challenge him he would whoop his butt real quick.

I have a very large run for them and a nice sized coup with a completely covered dog house they can also go into. Now I only have 8 hens which isn't good but I am adding more this spring which should help out my girls and hopefully ease some tension.

I feel like if you have the space and a good amount of hens you might be okay but it is never a sure thing with roosters. Some get along and some don't. I thought sharing my experience might give you an idea of how it could go. It could also be a lot worse, my EE could have easily killed my Leghorn since he is much bigger. Best of luck either way.
