Easter Egger club!

I got my 25 layer pullet chicks in yesterday morning from Ideal, including 8 of their Ameraucana/EE chicks. I'll post pics of those today as I clean the brooder and separate them out for a very quick photo shoot. I can say most have the typical chipmunk pattern, some darker, some lighter, one looks rather smoky bluish. All the chicks were very lively and healthy looking after their overnight trip to me. I'm hoping they all remain pullets and at least a couple give me bluish eggs.

One of 4 of my EE eggs has hatched! I'm very happy to see that it is yellow...my OE that hatched early yesterday is black...I was hoping for some lighter colors! My other 2 EE's that are 3 weeks old are a sliver/blue and black/bared color. Now just three EE's, 1 OE, and 6 FBCM eggs to hatch! Whew, I'll be a nervous wreck by the time this hatch is over! LOL!

I just got a yellow one. Curious to see what color she grows up to be!
Solid yellow or patterned? I got a yellow chipmunk this time and she's exactly like if you could take a BBR pullet and soak her in bleach. She's not white, exactly, more of a cream color and her patterning is barely there. The brown shows as faint stippling on her back and the breast has a peach wash to it

Pictures! Mine are all at the egg wait stage and as exciting as that is, I miss this...

I haven't been on this thread in awhile but my very first ee chick French Fry apparently laid two small but very bright blue eggs in the last three days and has been pecking at my family to let them know

I've been stuck in hospital but can't wait to see it. Was really really hoping she was a blue! And here are some of my newest additions

Finished pasty butt patrol and cleaning the brooder. Took pics mostly before to keep from letting anyone get chilled. Here's my 8 Ameraucana/EE girls. One, maybe two look like they might turn out blue? Got both light and dark chipmunk patterns too. I love the guessing game for what colors they might be as adults.

Hey there!!! Haven't talked to you in a long time! So sorry you're in the hospital- hope it's nothing serious! I have an EE that looks just like yours, her name is crazy eyes hahaha.

I went in kinda delirious with a 105 fever and pneumonia. Then a jackass hot shot dr poked a whole in my lung and collapsed it. Leaving soon but its been a very long week.
