Around 3 and a half months old. Bit heavier than my other pullets and growing at a slightly quicker rate. Has a shiny sheen to its feathers all over just like the other 2 cockerels I had. Less friendly to humans than the others.

Feathers on the back of the neck kind of curl into each other into the middle instead of facing downwards and it's starting to grow some cockerel-looking saddle feathers. I'm leaning towards male but 1. I've never had EE's before so I just want to make sure and 2. My Ag Science class is doing a chicken experiment but there's an odd amount of hens (we split them into 2 groups) so I want to ask to take one (but only when I'm sure that my EE is a cockerel to re-home him, as the coop is not big enough for 4 hens to live as comfortable as possible).

I read on EEs cockerels have patchy coloring and pullets or hens have more of a even patterning. Yours looks to be a cockerel.
