Easter egger help needed!

Hi all, I’m posting an updated photo in the hopes of receiving more responses! Unfortunately, the folks at My Pet Chicken think Buckbeak is a roo, but I’m still holding out hope. Hatch date: June 29.

We need a full body side view, and maybe a shot looking down and the back and tail. And why do people think this is an Easter egger? It looks like a pure Ameraucana to me.

I ordered a blue Easter egger from my pet chicken, so I don’t think s/he’s a pure Ameraucana (but could be wrong). Here are the best photos I have at the moment.

It is a tough one, but I'm pretty certain that is a pullet. By 14 weeks it would have evidence of male feathering if it was a cockerel. But definitely get other opinions.

Thanks! At the very least, I'm glad there is hope. I can't have a rooster where I live, so I'll keep him/her until I know for sure.

I'm sorry, my vote is stuck firmly on cockerel.

I would expect to see more male specific traits as well. Some are just slow to grow those feathers though.

That comb makes me say cockerel.
