Easter Egger Hen or Roo?

Slightly torn. I see everyone saying pullet, but I think I might have to disagree. It seems like your chicken is growing some iridescent feathers on her tail. She/he seems small for a possible rooster which is why I'm torn. It's also early to tell! Hope this helps!

She's got some Blu Kote on her feathers back there, maybe that's what you're seeing? ... she's definitely not bottom of the pecking order, but a couple other girls got in a bad habit of picking on her.

She's bigger than the other girls, but may be a week older than them. Thanks for the reply, I'll just keep watching her.

Yes that Blu Kote could for sure give that impression in a picture. Like you said, just keep watching. That's all we can really do!
