These are my first Easter Eggers. We bought them as day old pullets, but I know there's room for error. One of them really stands out both looks-wise and personality-wise from the others, so I'm thinking we may have a roo.

I'm secretly hoping it might be a rooster because I've kind of wanted to add one to our flock, so long as he doesn't get mean.

The red heat lamp is making it difficult to see things properly. Can you post individual photos of each bird that show both the comb and full body in natural lighting?
Things to look for that would indicate a cockerel at this age would be bright pink combs, patchy coloring, or deep red on the shoulder/wing area.

sorry video wouldn't show for me

Here's the link if it helps:

Can you post a picture of the white bird, and the bird that you are suspicious of? Video was grainy and did not show feathers well.

Sure thing, I'll take some pictures tomorrow when I have some daylight to work with!

The one front and center is the one I'm questioning might be a roo. There's 2 more easter eggers (same age) in the photo -- the white one behind it, and the darker one behind and to the right of the picture.

The one in the front is a pullet. But, I wonder about the white one. I think that one is a cockerel. I am on my phone and limits my observations.
