Easter Egger Laying "Fairies"

I have a mixed flock of 18 hens. They are all about 17 weeks old (except for my three 2 and a half year olds). One of my 17 week old Ameraucanas started laying two days ago (seems early to me). Both of the eggs she laid are small "fairy" eggs about half the size of the older chickens normal eggs. Are they small because she is premature? Are they just fairy eggs? or are they small because it is her first couple of eggs?

Mine are 14 weeks and I think one is laying fairies. Seems way too young but my mature hens have all laid today....so it's got to be from a little one....

Yes it was age. My whole flock is now laying normally.
