Easter Egger Muffs and Beard

I have three that are a little over three weeks old. 2 had little muffs from the start. The other one doesn't.

Generally, you will see on a day-old whether they are going to be facially feathered or not...the "poofy cheeks" indicate that as the bird feathers out they are going to have that feathering - it develops right along with the rest of their plumage as they feather out. The photo @ImNotYogi posted above is a great example of the difference. With Easter Eggers there is no guarantee that they will be feathered as the mixed breeding that results in them often also results in clean faced chicks, non-pea combed chicks, etc.
