Not when it hasn't gone through a juvenile molt. When looking at female patterns, they are only applicable when they are "big girl" feathers.Still trying to learn about sexing different breeds, but I thought this type of pattern was female specific. Is it not always?
You got it!Gotcha. So male patterns coming in with the juvie feathers is only in specific breeds, such as the dark breast feathers in Faverolles.
