Easter Egger roo or hen?

Hello all!

Well, I’ve already got one confirmed rooster in my little Easter Egger flock. From what I’ve read, this black and what coloring means this one is most likely a roo too, right? It’s name is Tamagotchi. : )

No. Both male and female chickens can be silver Columbian.

How old is she?

The feathering doesn't appear male. Very pale comb. My guess would be pullet but I too wonder her age?

Oh, yay! I was hoping the pale comb meant she may be female. She’s 9 weeks and just developed the most adorable cheek fluff.

I hope for you that she proves to be a lil lady. I am NOT the sexing queen here by any means but I do like to watch these theads and by learning through this forum I have gotten pretty good at semi-educated "guessing" lol! I love that BYC is like an online poultry school hehe! Free education!
