Here are my two "Silver Ameracaunas" from Tractor Supply, they do have muffs and beard but both olive legs, so I assume actually Easter Egger. In any case - trying to determine gender! I feather sexed when I got them and one was fast one was slow, suggesting two different genders, Helena being the theoretical female pattern per this site, but I don't know their genetics so don't know if that's actually meaningful. I picked up as baby chicks <1 week old first week of May. Helena had much fluffier cheeks as a baby, Mouse feathered out a full week earlier, after feathering out Helena's tail got longer before Mouse, but then Mouse caught up and they are similar in shape and size now. These pics are from mid July, 3.5 months old. My 4.5 month old duckwing rooster hangs out more with Helena than Mouse but will hang with both, no clear gender behavior from either one otherwise. Both are getting hints of redder brown in some feathers, randomly about the body (phone had a hard time capturing the color, NOT red shoulders). Pics of both below, thanks for any thoughts!
