Any ideas on these 2?

The b/w is a cockerel -- getting the classic red wing bows in now which is a very male look.

The other I'm leaning female but would wait a couple weeks to see if the red is even when the feathering is done.

The B/W chicks seem to get miss sexed the most at the hatcheries. Not saying they are all male but the chance of the hatchery getting it wrong is way higher on the white chicks... I base that by slowly going through every EE sexing post when I decided to get EEs and though I did not do the statistical math it is pretty clear most are male.

I think male for red on wings too.

The other may be a pullet but we need to see how the feathers mature out so post another picture in a couple weeks. If the feathers stay rounded it's a girl if you start seeing pointed saddle and hackle feathers it's a boy.

Were these hatchey sexed pullets? If so, someone had a bad day. But if they were sexed by an amateur, I'd be impressed.

I ordered 12 pullets and 4 straight run from hatchery. I have 2/12 roosters from my pullets so far. I still have 1 black Ameracauna I'm trying to figure out; I'm suspecting it's a rooster too due to its redder comb. Only 1 roo from my 4 straightrun chicks. I need to call the hatchery about their margin of error being over the 10% mark.
