I’ve posted my own thread asking but found this and figured I’d try to get more input. This is my EE in question...
approximately 10 weeks old

With the red bumpy comb and what I think are saddle feathers in the second picture, I think it's a cockerel. Would like to see a clearer side view picture to confirm. Were the last 2 pictures taken at a younger age?

I've started to wonder about my slow feathering easter egger. I'm totally flummoxed by sexing the brown ee. So maybe you all can give me and idea of how to identify what to look for. They are 5 weeks old now. My other chicks are almost fully feathered, including my other ee, except my faverolle, which as I understand it, is a slow feathered.

Hi everyone,
I got my first chicks about 5 weeks ago and have absolutely fell in love with my EE. He/she is the sweetest and from what I have been reading on this thread, I am a little nervous she might be a he, which would be pretty upsetting as we are not allowed to have roosters where I live :( Based on the pictures, is there still a chance it could be a pullet? Thanks in advance!

Pullet!

My two EEs are 7 weeks old this week...I’m hoping pullets! The comb on Nala (the black and white) has always been more of a pale pinky skin color than yellow. Amelia is definitely becoming the leader of the flock, she’s a bossy little lady.
