Anyone want to guess on this easter egger. It's mom is a blue ameracuana and dad was a speckled sussex. All 4 chicks from them came out very similar coloring. We only kept this one. I added one picture of it with its siblings... Because cute fluff balls.

Its a little young to tell. Wait until its at least 8 weeks, and maybe as old as 10.

Looks like a pullet to me... What makes you think cockerel?

How old? unless you have really small hands, I would guess a least 12 weeks. I would think a cockerel would have "rooster red" on the wing bows by now. I have EEs that have saddle feathers like the ones on your bird. Notice how nicely rounded they are, not pointy.
