Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Here's another EE questionable sex pic for everyone. I'm pretty sure I know the answer to my question already, but I was able to figure it out primarily by reviewing other people's posts and pictures. So maybe this will help other people as much as it will help me.

Guinevere/Glen is about 10 weeks (2/12/13) and within the last week started showing red in its comb and dark coloration where there used to be lighter orange. Please give it some consideration and explanation when you post your guess on its gender.
Thank you!

That deep red color on the wings says rooster to me, I've just never seen that coloring on a pullet. Also, my girls did not get combs that big and red until 16 weeks.

Hi all. What do you think of this EE, who is almost 5 weeks old. I looked at the first 20 pages of the thread and didn't see any pics of an EE that had a speckled chest like mine does. That's the part that's throwing me off with her (him?), because otherwise her coloring is pretty drab like a pullet's.

My two new EEs started out black and bright yellow and brown, now they both look just like yours.

As chicks

A few weeks ago....I don't have a current photo, but look at your chicks and you will see what mine look like. They are both pullets and they look very similar to my adult hen who was suppose to be a silver Ameraucana, but I think the breeder was a little mixed up. Anyway, that hen lays a beautiful medium teal green egg! Both these chicks have white splatting on their chests..

My (hopefully) pullet. Her name is Kanaliha. Someone said that she has very pulletish coloring, and I agree. Just wanted to see others opinions. :)

When she was little.

Definitely a rooster to me judging by the coloring and it looks like it is developing saddle feathers--look at how they are starting to get pointy and beginning to drape down by his tail.He has beautiful coloring.

This one is a little more complicated to sex. With the burnt orange color coming in so dark and that red comb I am leaning toward cockerel. The hackle feathers also seem to be starting to look a little pointy. But I can't say for sure.
