Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Hi all. What do you think of this EE, who is almost 5 weeks old. I looked at the first 20 pages of the thread and didn't see any pics of an EE that had a speckled chest like mine does. That's the part that's throwing me off with her (him?), because otherwise her coloring is pretty drab like a pullet's.

So far looking girly, but watch those shoulders for red!

Looking for some opinions on my EE. She/ Macie ( we will stick to that for now) was hatched 3/5/13. She is different then the rest, slightly aggressive/ dominate but equally as friendly as the rest. We have a mixed flock so We don't have another EE to compare personalities with. I feel in my gut she is a Roo but I just don't want to admit it because we are not allowed roosters where we live. So what do you guys think? Fingers crossed you say my feeling in wrong.

Thank you so much.
P.S. they are not usually in this crate. only today because we are making some adjustments to the run.

Yeah, looks like a cockerel... those babies look pretty young and his comb is pretty big and red.

I am trying to sex these birds. I was told they were Amerecauna but when I posted in their thread I got a resounding no. So now to try to sex the EE's I was told they were all pullets but I have a sneaky suspicion about Elizabeth. That would be the white one. They were hatched on 02/22/2013. All except for that last one. It was hatched 03/12/2013.

Cleopatra

Catherine

No name, what color will I be?

Again my little no name.

I would actually be a little concerned about Elizabeth's red comb at 8 weeks of age. White EE's can be tricky, so wait and see on her. Cleopatra and Catherine have very common pullet coloring, so most likely are female. The last one is precious, looks like she's feathering out to a very pale partridge/wild-type with a red-blonde head. Can't wait to see them as they develop

Note the 3 row comb in picture # 3. That's a roo for sure.

Here's another EE questionable sex pic for everyone. I'm pretty sure I know the answer to my question already, but I was able to figure it out primarily by reviewing other people's posts and pictures. So maybe this will help other people as much as it will help me. Guinevere/Glen is about 10 weeks (2/12/13) and within the last week started showing red in its comb and dark coloration where there used to be lighter orange. Please give it some consideration and explanation when you post your guess on its gender. Thank you!
