Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Actually that is rust showing on her shoulders below the gold. Hope you are right.

Geez I am having so much trouble with Internet Explorer on this site, and it doesn't like my phone photos.
The person who posted their birds above your post shows what yours would look like if it were a boy. If you look at those boys, that is the kind of dark red you need to be worried about.

Just posting some photos to show how this EE is developing. IT has been told to me both cockerel and pullet so figured I would post the most recent photos. Not the greatest but if you need better ones let me know and I can work on getting better ones today.

The one one the left looks like a cockerel and the one on the right is a pullet, I believe.

I only have 1 rooster so I'm not worried if it is male, just curious. I thought it was a male as well, but they are both feathering the same and both combs are still tiny :)

These are the babies from my easter hatch. They are 7 weeks old today. They are all fathered by my farmbred EE rooster, out of the various hens that keep him company. I'm not too worried about gender; that'll prove itself in time. I just like to show off they're pictures. ;) But if anyone wants to share their opinions, feel free. Oh, just for fun, here's a picture of the father, with one of his harem:

Now, the ones I suspect of being male:

This one is huge. Mother is a Silver Laced Wyandotte.

Camera Shy. Refused to look at me. Mom is an Amber Link Hybrid.

Going off the comb only on this one. Mom is a hatchery bred EE. Wondering if anyone knows anything about genetics? Mom looks a lot like the hen in the picture with my rooster, but more redish, and, well, dad isn't white. So how'd the baby end up all white?

And now the ones I think might be female:

Another out of the Amber Link. This is the only one I really want to keep, so the only one I really care if it turns out a hen or not. Though, if it's a rooster, I may just replace dad with him. But hoping for a girl.

Another Camera Shy one. Mom is a Welsummer.

Couldn't get a clear headshot, but the comb is small and not at all red or pink, at this point. I go back and forth actually, on gender for this one. Mom is a tiny little farm bred EE. This baby is less than half the size of it's black have-sibling pictured above. Amazes me everytime I look at them together that they can be born on the same day and share a father.

The comb doesn't seem raised at all, is that the case or does it look "roo like" straight on?
