Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

The front chick is a 12-wk old EE mix. Probably pullet, right?

I think so, no comb to be seen. But is that EE sitting on BRIGHT YELLOW feet? I think that is very unusual for an EE, do you know what the cross is?

I have an update on my orange and white chick. At this point I'm guessing pullet despite the red patches, it seems like it's in the process of coming in as an overall pattern. The comb is sort of wide, but flat and undeveloped. Interested in what you all think.

Edit: forgot to mention, they are 8.5 weeks old now

Wrong color red for a boy

The red you "fear" is a rusty mahogany red. I don't see anything like a boyish comb on her.

So we hatched a few OEs around Easter (about 13 weeks old now, but pics at about 12 weeks old) which are a BA/BCM cross, and I think we ended up with all cockerels.

No crowing (yet?).

#1 which I'm 99% sure cockerel - feathering, big boy, legs (neck was sticking out during the photo):

#2: 75% sure cockerel - big legs, saddle feathers?, tail:

#3 - holding out hope that it is a masculine-faced pullet, but don't think so. Only have one not-so-good pic. It is smaller than the other two cockerels though.

Thoughts appreciated!

All three are cockerels.

Yes, bright yellow feet. The roo is EE and the probable hen would be the white "layer" hens which could be leghorn mixes (but I think lay light brown eggs). The hens in that flock are Orpingtons and RIR crosses and EE and the layers. Some of the hens were rescued so their exact breed is unknown.

Here's a couple pictures from today with a cockerel from the same hatch group.

Pictures at 4 weeks, best I could get. Not hunting gender advice, just posting now so there is reference for later

New March- If you have a roo (And especially if you have a lavender/grey/blue/splash roo) I will pay big bucks for a few eggs from Wester. :-( Bunny got caught in the top of the coop on the chicken wire and broke...something. I'm not sure if it is hip or femur but her leg is dangling and she can't bear weight on it. I am praying for a miraculous recovery - but being somewhat realistic.
After spending so much time with her 'm really taking this pretty hard. I did the same thing with my first light brahma Dusty- I only let myself get attached to 1 bird each time I raise them (every third year) and wouldn't you know that would be the bird that comes to an early demise? I'm heartsick.

Oh ibarbidahl I am soooo sorry! I have been thinking I have to take out some extra fencing because Miss Adventurous Wester is forever exploring it. I do have a cockerel, as yet to be determined if he will make it to maturity in my yard (though he is promising as he has yet to crow and he is still sweet, we shall see what reaching sexual maturity does to that) he is the Light Brahma though so not the colors you are hoping for. Also remember that Wester is a flightly little spazoid so you may not love her chicks nearly as much.
Dangling leg does not sound good, my huge Buff Orp had a crash landing that resulted in her not putting any weight on it for weeks and slowly to limp for many more and she is back to normal except for a slight limp that is a little bigger when it is cold, when everyone wanted me to send her to the pot. I hope Bunny recovers. I would gladly send you some of Westers eggs but I have never shipped eggs and I would bet you would not be as happy with the chicks as you are with yours.
