The feather pattern on this one is pretty random which can suggest a cockerel. Compare it to the even pattern on
first chick. BUT, these are EEs and there is no defined pattern or color, they turn into ANYTHING as they progress through their feathering.

Where did you get them?

Thank you for the input. I was so hoping she was a tomboy. I live on just four acres, and have neighbors. If she wants to stay here and live the good life, she will have to stifle that urge to crow. Otherwise I will try to find a home that just has plain brown eggs and wants to get more colorful-- and pray that's what he is able to provide.

So sad for those unlucky enough to be born future roos. They grow up eating chick starter and fruit snacks, are protected by hardware cloth, carefully tended..... then WHAM through no fault of their own they are outcasts from the good life. The feedstore will take them back, but I know they go in a pen in the back, priced at $5 and most likely end up as the guest of honor at a BBQ.
;(

It is sad and unfortunate. I got a cockerel this year too and am waiting to see how noisy he will turn out to be cause I love him and want to keep him. Mine is a Brahma so hopefully he will be a low crower.

Mavabird, at this point they all look like pullets to me. I don't see enough comb or red on any of them to make me think cockerel. I'd be interested in an update in a few weeks.

Oh, I do hope you're right! I will definitely post pictures again in a few weeks. Thank you!

I'm thinking both of these are pullets but I'm not sure. anyone care to venture a guess?

You pretty much need an age to get a more definitive answer. No obvious red comb or mahogany/red patches on the wing bows but on a 6 week old cockerel those are less likely. If not present on a 12 week old, probably a pullet.

My GUESS is that they are about 6 weeks old. Can't see combs with the side shots but at this point I would guess both are pullets.
