Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

So, does anyone have pictures of their roos as chicks? I'd love to see some comparisons and get some kind of idea if you can sort of tell earlier on. I had two Americauna chicks, one was a roo named Silver and the other a hen named Chief , but they were totally different colors as chicks. These are pics of them at one week old, Silver is the bluish silver chick and Chief has darker markings.

This is Silver clearly a rooster and Chief behind him, a hen.

Now, I have two more, Americauna chicks, they both are similar in markings to Chief, but, one has more pronounced colorings, as Chief did at that age, and the other is softer. I'll be posting pics as soon as I get them. Both Silver and Chief were friendly as chicks, but Silver was more interested in people than Chief was. Silver would chase your fingers if you wiggled them like a butterfly, while Chief wasn't particularly excited about anything. We had another roo , a buff Orpington, that was competitive as a little chick, and often competed with Silver in the finger game. I guess where I am going with this is more of an experiment. With this new batch of chicks I am noticing personality differences, with some being easier to interact with, and more willing to have us touch them without freaking out. It should prove to be interesting if they are roos and the ones that are less social with people turn out to be pullets. We ordered only pullets, but, I know the error rate in sexing, so, I'm really hoping we cheat the odds and have all pullets. We ordered two Americaunas, two black austrolorps, two black cuckoo marans, and two salmon faverolles. Crossing our fingers.
