Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Really?? I would have guessed roo with the specjs of red in there. I have three that look a lot like this and figured roo with them?

In the top photo it's hard to see combs, but the black and white one looking at the camera has pullet coloring. The orangey ones look like pullets. The black and white one closest to the camera has classic roo patterning. Not sure on the calico towards the back left, unless it's the same one in the bottom photo. Bottom photo looks like a roo so far based on the splotchy calico coloring.

How old are they again?

. I was wondering if this looks like a roo to anyone?

Here are some (hopefully) better pics of Cleo...let me know what you think :)

The pattern is very rooish
EE pullets generally have a smooth pattern while cockerels have a patchy looking pattern. The brick red color on the wings is a dead giveaway.

The legs are pretty thick looking and it's holding the tail more upright.
I would say its a cockerel.

I would have said cockerel for Cleo as well until seeing the comb, it's very small. But I still can't see the red everyone's talking about

I also just went out to my coop and saw that one of the black and white EE girls is developing rooish patterns, but she is most definitely a pullet at 12 weeks:

ETA: Knowing Cleo's age might help a lot!!

Cleo is 7-8 weeks right now

Hello everyone,
Just wanted some gender opinions on my EE chick. She (or he?) is about 8 weeks old. So far the coloring is all black and white, no red splotches. The comb is not huge but it is a little redder than my two other EE's which I'm sure are girls. This chick is also smaller than the other two (same age) and feathered in later. These black and white EE's sure are hard to guess! Thanks!!
