So is there any hope for Ginger at this point or should I start looking for a new home (or a butcher)?

 

I'd wait for the rooster feathers, myself. It's not looking good with the red darkening like that but it's not, IMO, 100% without those.

I didn't think hackle or saddle feathers showed up at only 8 weeks, however.

Can't tell about Cleo (black/white), but the other two are classic pullet coloring.

HeartMoss Farm thanks for the input. Thats what I have been thinking. I think the other chicks so far are all looking pullet too. Was not wanting a rooster. Not that we can't have one just fearful of the mean one I had as a child.
