Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Looking at the neck feathers (very round) and the tail feathers (very not-scimitar shaped): Ginger looks like a lovely girl!

Pointed hackle and saddle feathers would not show on an 8 week old bird; they don't even begin growing until at least 12 weeks, and don't show through the other feathers until 16-20 weeks.

I have 15, 7 week old Chicks 5 of which are easter Eggers I am pretty sure 4 of them are pullets but I have 2 black and white ones and from reading on here black and white are mostly boys. So are either of these boys

I am so confused i think one may be a roo due to the splotchy coloring. 2 is very even in color patterns .

So is there any hope for Ginger at this point or should I start looking for a new home (or a butcher)?

Yep, looks like the first one is a roo and the second one is a pullet.
