Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Well after reading this whole page several times...I have come to the conclusion that I have two hens. Very relieved as I already have one Roo. Thanks for helping a chicken lover out everyone
 
Even though the 1st chicken has it's tail up like a Roo,. it looks like a pullet. I, too have a young chick. (about, 14 weeks old) who has a really high set tail like yours.( There is a pic of her several pages back.) Her body looks like a roo; but its comb just is not developing at all. I still am not sure really, but feel if this were a male he would be trying to crow by now. I am no expert, but thats just what i have gathered from this thread. Both of your birds look lovely either way. Good luck!

Help! I am a newbie and need help with the sex of this americauna!!! We have 3 americaunas. 2 are smaller and their tails are horizontal. The 3rd is much larger and the tail points upward. Is this a clue. All chickens are same age, thanks
