Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Alright, so I have 8 EE chicks that I need help sexing..2 are 5 weeks old and 6 are 3 weeks old but it looks like I already have some pretty prominent cockerels. Can anyone help confirm?

Chick 1: 5 weeks - pullet?

Chick 2: 5 weeks - cockerel?

Chick 3: 3 weeks - pullet?

Chick 4: 3 weeks - cockerel?

Chick 5: 3 weeks - pullet?

Chick 6: 3 weeks - cockerel?

Chick 7: 3 weeks - cockerel?

Chick 8: 3 weeks- cockerel?
You should start seeing bright pink in the older birds very soon if you have a cockerel. The 3 weekers are young, so it's more guessing than anything, but I would have guessed the same as you did. Unfortunately, the pics would not enlarge for me and I have old eyes!

There are so many of these I put them in the small size but you can click them to look at them larger.
This one I think is a roo.
Yes, roo.

I want this one to be a hen but the feathers flash blue in the light.
Looks like a pullet.

I think this charcoal laced one is a hen maybe. The black one dose have a tail but it is about half of full size.
Both look like pullets.

This pair are the same as the next 4 pictures. I saying dark one roo and the lighter one hen.
I am not sure on either of these.

This one I am calling hen. She is just so delicate looking and a big scaredy cat too. Her color seems to be charcoal with single lacing.

The black bird on the shoulder is not all black. Along the wings you can see bits of pattern peeking out of the black.

This boy I am sure is a roo because of the bright orange on the shoulders and the sparse feathering there too.

Yes, a boy.

This one is a roo too I am sure. Has anyone ever seen that "eyes" pattern on the chest of a chicken before?

And another one! Love the "eyes!"
I'm guessing these guys are around 7 weeks? If they are, then I would agree with all your predictions (except maybe the second pair shown). If younger, more waiting required.

This is the last of my EE batch that I'm uncertain of. This is about week 9 for him/her and s/he is starting to look more cockerel than pullet to me. Obviously, I'd prefer the opposite, but what can you do? Is she turning out to be a he or is my paranoia just making me see things that way?

Very torn on this one.

Do you have other splash birds to compare the comb color? This one looks pink, but not pinker than my SLW pullet at the same age. Curious to see what others say.

How about these ee combs? They are 4 weeks, (the other little dude/dudette they are with is a silver sebright). I am also curious what their final colouring will be?

#2 below

#3 below

pics at 2 and 4 weeks to get an idea for colouring

I would guess 1 and 2 are roos, and 3 is a hen
Hard to tell in the pic, but 1 and 2 look like they have reddish at the ends of their feathers and are much larger than #3
thanks for an replies, I don't know if its too early so will take any thoughts
