Thanks! My 5 year old named them! We are picking up Amy today she is a CLB/EE mix. We also have Howard and Raj who are female buff brahmas, and Bernadette is a RIR.

Can anybody please help me sex these four beautiful girls(hopefully). I bought them from a feed store and they are about 3-4 weeks old. I was told they were sexed at the hatchery but that its not 100% accurate. Any help would be appreciated.

The first three look def. like pullets to me. The last one could use more feathering in to be sure. They are still a little young, but all seem to have the typical female feather pattern. Good luck! I hope they all turn out to be pullets for you

I have 6 EEs in my flock of 8 week olds. 2 of which are pure Ameracauna. I need opinions on gender. I have an opinion, but want to see if someone more experienced can help out.

My pure Ameracaunas:

Leonard (was blue/silver until about 2 weeks ago) I am thinking boy by size and disposition

Sparkles- no color to her comb at all. Girl all the way

My true EE mixes: Sheldon- has always been larger, and now has red on the shoulders- I'm thinking boy

Penny- I'm hoping girl, she doesn't fight with Sheldon and Leonard like they do with each other

Molly- Dispostion says girl to me

Martha- Smallest of the bunch, disposition says girl as well.



What do y'all think?

I think you might be right, although I'd like to see the comb pictures for the two black ones.

Looks like a pullet, but depends on the age. 8 weeks and under, it can still change quite a bit. 9 weeks and older, probably a pullet.

Thank you for your reply! I really hope they are all pullets. The bottom one was the one i was scared about because she is my favorite. fingers crossed!
