Can anyone help determine whether my chicks are roos or pullets? Bought them from TSC on 4/27 but believe they were older when I bought them. Possibly 7 to 8 weeks? And we're labeled as ameraucana. I'm hoping what I'm reading about feather patterns means these are both pullets.

Both my EEs are B&W pullets
Confirmed Cause I'm getting an egg from one of them now
Although she got a little salmon on her breast the past few weeks.
The other is only B&W.

My chicks are a week old and one has some feathers at the end if its wing but above that its fuzz then wear the wing is connected is some small feathers. Does these feathers have to do with the sex of that chick?

Without seeing a picture, and just trying to visualize what you are describing: Your chick is starting to "feather out" and the fluff will slowly start turning into feathers.

So They are six weeks now. I have been told that they are Pullets but I just want to be sure (if possible). If anyone can tell me their opinion I would be very grateful

Number one is Sister, she is dark with lighter areas popping through now




The second one is Miss V. She is the really big one with the beautiful beard.



The third one is Gibi, I have heard talk about Gray being a sign of a cockerel.




I don't see any large Combs yet. But I am so new to this that I would not recognize it if I did.
