Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

I believe there are three distinct rows.

This is the best close up I have at the moment.

I thought that s/he looked kind of like one with those neck feathers, didn't know that being mixed with one was possibility until reading more about Easter Eggers on this site.
S/he is also the sweetest of the bunch which is why I'm hoping for a hen.

He is going to be gorgeous. That is a bummer.

I'm thinking about trying to re-home him instead of culling because of his looks and because of how friendly he is (for now at least). My plan was to cull any roosters because there are so many roosters on craigslist in my area.

Quote: His coloring is called columbian. Give rehoming a try. You can also ask on the BYC Oregon thread if anyone would like him. Some feed stores will take cockerels for resale. Ask around. I also thought it would be impossible to find a home for an unwanted cockerel, but my mother in law mentioned it to the lady she buys eggs from, and the lady took him for a friend of hers who wanted a rooster. We had to drive him up to the next county, but it was great to find the guy a good home.
