Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

His coloring is called columbian.  Give rehoming a try.  You can also ask on the BYC Oregon thread if anyone would like him. Some feed stores will take cockerels for resale.  Ask around.  I also thought it would be impossible to find a home for an unwanted cockerel, but my mother in law mentioned it to the lady she buys eggs from, and the lady took him for a friend of hers who wanted a rooster.  We had to drive him up to the next county, but it was great to find the guy a good home.
It was very random finding someone I know who wanted a rooster and is probably going to take mine when I'm ready. I'm glad too that it's someone I know and can ask about him. He's so sweet I hate giving him up.

I've tried looking at the bottom of their feet like I have always done with kittens and puppies but it didn't tell me anything.

The biggest reason I know she is a girl is because I ordered girl chicks and there's like a 95% success rate or something like that. I also know because she isn't growing a comb as quickly as males do. Males would already have a decently sized comb and it would be pinkish/red. Tater's comb is pretty tiny and it's still a yellow/creamish color. Here's my other easter egger chick (also a female). If you post a picture, I'd be happy to try and help!

Thank you, those sound like great ideas :)
