Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Loki update! Australorp/EE mix. She/he is 7 weeks tonight.. A bit pink but not that much for her age right?
This might seem like a silly question also, but is Loki and all others fathered by our EE considered an EE as well? Or a mix?

This is from 2 weeks ago.

I also have a Meyer's EE that I'm thinking might be a male as well. We will try to get pictures of that one tomorrow.

From what I've seen on this thread over the last three years, it would be very unusual to have a pullet with that coloration. Black and white pullets tend to have a much more even pattern. Unusual certainly doesn't mean impossible, of course, but I'm suspecting it may be a late blooming cockerel. Hope not, if you want a female. Wait for your update.

Anyone have any ideas on this one, I have never had one with tail feathers like this so it makes me think that She is a He! 7 1/2 weeks here.

Our 1st easter egger had a tail like that. Did some research, and found out it is called a tailless easter egger. Our poor Duckie was truly a mutt. Layed green eggs, was tailless, and had no earmuffs. But she was a sweet heart nonetheless. I still hate the neighbors dog that murdered her.

Still holding out for a pullet but everyone is guessing roo ... "she" is so sweet and so pretty!

How old? I gotta say, my doppleganger chick to this (there were a lot of us that got this same color combo this year) is 13 weeks and is not NEARLY as red in the wing, and has NO color to her comb which is about 1/4 the size of his so yeah, I gotta vote boy for yours too.
