It looks like a pullet that is close to laying

at that age a cockerel would have obvious red shoulders and pointed hackle/saddle feathers.

I agree but had to put the boys' fears to rest again. lol She was one that had been in question early on so every change to her comb brought a barrage of questions and concerns. lol We keep praying that eggs will start arriving soon. But man, they are just hold out on me. lol

this one i am not too sure about...colors look rooish but its feet are small and its comb is NOT as big as the roos up top

I think it's a pullet. Not much comb there for a 10 week old.

Still not sure on the second one. Probably cockerel with that coloring, but I'm not willing to call it without seeing a close up of the comb. I'm very curious to see how it develops.
The cockerel is going to be very pretty, and so is the one we think is a pullet.

No, there is almost no comb...that's the one thing that has me thinking she's a she. My husband disagrees! Thanks for taking the time to look. I appreciate the help!

They still are not fully feathered, especially those half naked Cornish. Who would have thought that a chicken that will be big enough to eat at 8 weeks would be half naked at 4??

Anyway I don't see any obvious boys in there just yet.

LOL you should have seen them caught in the rain yesterday! I ran out there it was pouring, they were under the eve of the building getting more wet than if they stood in the middle of the field! The cornish cross looked particularly naked and an EE and Barred rock baby were standing on a cornish crosses back! I was really soaked by the time I picked up and placed 80 or so chicks in the coop!
