Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Here is a picture a couple days ago next to a known male:

It is starting to look like a splash, so I don't know if plumage coloring is helpful. Mom was pure blue ameraucana, dad was blue copper marans. The comb definitely isn't 3 rows, but it seems to be a hybrid pea comb so I don't know if that matters.

Hi all!

I have a 3-month-old EE that I cannot sex for the life of me. I have my other ones done but this one is proving to be difficult. It looks like it has rounded tail feathers, not as red in the face as my roos, but has thick legs like my other roos. I can't really tackle this one for a comb photo but from its younger age it looked to be growing a 3-row. For what it's worth, my other EE roo is black and white and did get the red on the shoulders.

Guesses?

That color/pattern is female.

From that picture, it looks like a pullet. but I may be wrong

Thanks - I agree from that picture. But the color (as seen in previous pics) and comb profile is just throwing me off. I'll update when we know either way.
