Thank you! I love the black and white color! Kauai will be 8 weeks on Wednesday. I agree, she looks very similar to Lucy Lou with the exception that yours has much puffer cheeks that mine so far (which I hope change soon in Kauai).

He's a cockerel. Big red comb tells the tale. I love the red and blue together too. He's going to be very pretty when the rest of the dark red comes in on his wings.

This will be a very handsome rooster! He looks very similar to my favorite and very lovable Mozart whom in this picture is 13 weeks.

Thank you all for your opinions! After reading this whole thread for a few weeks the splotchy-ness is when I first thought I might have a cockerel, and over the past few weeks his comb has grown and become very beautiful and bright red!

And thank you for sharing pictures of your beautiful blue and red rooster! He is gorgeous and I love the name Mozart for him!! Mine was named Missy because she was the bossiest pullet... guess I will need to change it to MR or Sir now

ETA Yesterday I really thought I heard a crow.. this morning 530 on the nose I heard it again.. 4 more times. I went down to feed em all at 630 and he stood up stretched out his neck and did it some more. Don't think there is any denying it now lol!!!
