Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

She should be about 5 months based on what I was told but I don't super trust the woman I bought her from. (But that's another whole story) Does that sound right based on how she looks? And good to know she looks like a she!

I would have guessed 4-5 months. Definitely a pullet at that age. A cockerel might look something like that at 6-8 weeks!

Yay! Thank you both! Sorry to bog down the easter egger thread with a non EE - I'm that clueless about my new hens haha

This is stripes. I just think it's beautiful, but I'm starting to think roo. 9 weeks old. I'

I'm going to guess pullet on this one.

This is Motzart today at 16 weeks

This is Motzart at 13 weeks and even here you can clearly see the red comb of a rooster

Wow, what a color change! Post some more pics as he continues through the juve moults, I'd really like to see what he looks like as an adult.

BTW, good comb pictures for people to compare to at those ages.

Thanks, he is my handsome and lovable boy! I didn't realize how much he had changed until I took those photos.

I was lucky with him, I knew at about 4 weeks he was a boy because of his crowing. This is the day he started crowing! Lol
