Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Always choose the boy that is most respectful of humans and the other birds. A cockerel that respects your space and gives you room to do what you need to do around the coop is one that is worth considering keeping. Cockerels that are always running up to you could be birds that will take it one step farther, by charging and jumping to spur you. Cockerels that will jump on top of you the second you are still is not showing you affection, he is displaying dominance over you. What newbies see as cute and friendly, are usually precursors to aggressive behavior.

]Ok, good advice! The one that used to always want to fall asleep in my lap, is now the first to run up.

Here's five of my presumed male EE's . They are such goofballs when they all dust bath together. My 8 year old daughter compared choosing which one to keep with The Bachelorette today.

Need help with this 12-13 wk Easter egger. "She" is very skittish and doesn't act like a cockeral at all. Her comb has never been red, only gets a bit flushed after getting spooked or trying to grab her. The light brown on her wings just popped up recently and even though it's not red, lol I'd feel better if someone can confirm pullet or cockeral.

Looks like a pullet.

We got this EE in our latest batch of chicks. She's brought up a lot of questions for us about whether she's a she. Almost 4 weeks old. What other photos would help ID her?
