Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Here's an update on a bird I was questioning a while ago. I'm still not sure.

Roo: Those tail feathers are all droopy and long like a roo and legs are pretty long. Stands tall and comb/face is redder than sisters. Behavior is fairly roo-ish. Seems to challange anyone who dares to do the run/wing flap thing like they're getting ready do take off.

Hen: Comb and wattles are no bigger than sister birds. Not crowing yet (weak I know).

That was my thinking too. Just wanted confirmation from the "experienced" group

Too bad I can't keep roosters where I live.

Thanks for the help everyone!

this is a big help for me...I have some 3 week old EE's that I'm trying to sex so I can name them!!! One of my kids wants a roo named after him since he helped me work so hard to raccoon proof the coop!!!

I've been reading the posts on color sexing and I have some concerns about this one. She's 9 weeks old, her comb is just starting to pinken, but she's making some odd clucking noises, much deeper than our other chicks of the same age. Also are those saddle feathers? We are hoping for a girl.
